The Coordinator is responsible for the day to day operations of the Mildred Madigan's Food Pantry.  This part time position is 15-18 hours per week.  Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: recruiting, training and scheduling volunteers, ordering food, ensuring all the food safety standards are maintained, filing reports and paperwork as needed, and ensuring maintenance is done as needed.  Additionally this position works in collaboration with Catholic Charities of Maine, the other Houlton area churches and Cross Café.  Successful candidates will be able to maintain confidentiality, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
